同僚のイアンとケリーが、会社を辞めることになったケビンについて話しています。
Ian: I can’t believe Kevin has decided to leave the company.
Kelly: I know. It’s very sad. He and Harry have been partners for over 20 years, right?
Ian: That’s right. But their disagreement on how to modernize the company to keep it competitive definitely caused a lot of damage.
Kelly: I agree. And it shows that any relationship can turn sour quite quickly.
Ian: Now we need to work even harder, or we could be out of a job.
Kelly: I don’t want to even think about that.

この文は諦めずに音読暗唱です。
文の形から確認しましょう。their disagreement（彼らの意見の不一致）。それが definitely caused a lot of damage（明らかに大きな傷痕の原因になった） という形。
主語が長く複雑ですが、説明を後ろに展開しているだけ。

Any relationship can turn sour quite quickly.
turn は「（クルッと）向きを変える」がイメージ。想像力を使ってこのイメージを「変化」につなげれば、この文が理解できます。sour は「酸っぱい」。食品が腐敗したときの特徴的な味であることから「腐る・ダメになる」という意味で使われています。
turn the light on(電灯をつける）、turn the TV off（テレビを消す）などのフレーズはわかりますか？ダイヤル式のスイッチを「クルッと回して」つけたり消したりする動作を想像すればもう大丈夫ですよね。「電灯をつける」からもう一歩想像力を働かせると次のような使い方も手に入ります。
He certainly knows how to turn on the charm.
charm（魅力）のスイッチを入れる、ということです。
最後に「向きを変える」turn の普通の使い方も例に出しておきます。
