Mirei: That’s right. I’m a bit nervous, to tell you the truth.
Sergei: Oh, come on. You already know he adores you.
Mirei: How can you say that?
Sergei: Haha! I’ve seen the way he looks at you.
Mirei: Oh, you’re just teasing me.
Sergei: No. I’m serious. Anyway, make sure you tell me how everything went tomorrow.
Mirei: Mmm. Maybe I will, and maybe I won’t. Ciao!

この文ではこれから起こる出来事について how everything went と過去形が使われています。
それは話し手が tomorrow（明日）に身を置いて話しているから。
明日に自分がいると考えれば、すべては終わってしまったあと。
何があったのかは過去形であらわすことができるというわけです。
次のような「歴史的現在」と呼ばれる現在形の使い方も同じです。
