レッスンのポイント 今まで視覚・聴覚を表す動詞を学んできましたが、今回はそのほかの感覚にチャレンジです。

怒っているキャロルにマーティンがそのわけを尋ねています。
Martin: Carol, what’s the matter? You look upset.
Carol: There was another car accident in our neighborhood last night.
Martin: Again? That’s the third one this week.
Carol: The driver got arrested for drunk driving.
Martin: Another drunk driver? What is going on these days? I feel we need to do something about this problem.
Carol: I couldn’t agree more.
Martin: By the way, was anybody hurt?
Carol: No. Luckily, no one was injured.

feel は「感じがする・感じる」。触覚（感じる）を表す動詞。そこから「（心で）感じる」ことも表します。
