Kota: How will you spend your vacation, Sapna?

Sapna: I’m going skiing with my family!

Kota: How about you, Nigel?

Nigel: I’m going to band camp. We have a brass band competition next month. So we’ll use our vacation time to rehearse every day.

Kota: I’ll miss you guys…

Sapna: Well, we’re not leaving until next week. Why don’t you all come to my house for dinner tomorrow?

Nigel: Sounds good!

Kota: Yeah!

Sapna: Great. My dad makes really good Indian food.

Nigel: Really?

Kota: Yeah, it’s still pretty warm. Does it snow here?

Nigel: It doesn’t get very cold in Sydney in the winter. But it snows in the mountains. There are actually many ski resorts in Australia.

Kota: I didn’t realize that.

Nigel: How are you going to spend your vacation, Kota?

Kota: I’ll have time for… my project.

Nigel: What project?

Kota: Um, it’s a secret!

Kota: Briony?

Briony: It’s kind of you to host us, Sapna.

Sapna: My pleasure. We should all become good friends!

Nigel: Sapna, you must be excited for your ski trip.

Sapna: I am. Can you ski, Kota?

Kota: Yes. Winter sports are very popular in Iwate. I like skiing and snowboarding.

Briony: If you can snowboard, you can surf, too, Kota!

Kota: Oh, is that so?

Kota: Mmm, they go well together. It’s tasty, Mr.Rao.

Sapna: Yeah, Dad’s cooking is the best! So, Briony, what are you doing during your vacation?

Briony: I’m staying in Sydney. I’ll probably go surfing almost every day.

Sapna: Briony will grow up to be a pro surfer!

Briony: I’m also taking part in a beach clean-up. Kota, you’ll be here, too, right? Why don’t you join me?

Kota: A beach clean-up?

Sapne will grow up to be a fashion desigher.

Harry will grow up to be a doctor.

Nigel will grow up to be a scientist.
