Min-jun: Actually, I bought these at Kenneth Hunter’s shop when my family visited the U.K.

Emma: Who is Kenneth Hunter?

Min-jun: He is a craftsman who makes this special patterned cloth. It’s called a “tartan.”

Emma: I’ve heard of that!

Min-jun: He only makes this cloth in a certain small town in Scotland. I had a cap to match the mittens, but I lost it a few years ago.

Ayane: Oh, too bad!

Scarlett: Yes. I can’t wait to see your ideas, Rio!

Rio: I watched your new music video, and the dance moves are quite intense. So, you can move easily in these dresses. Also, they’ll swirl when you turn.

Scarlett: Wonderful!

Rio: Which design do you like?

Scarlett: The black dress and the red dress are pretty, but the plaid dress is fabulous! It’s so unique. Everyone who sees this dress will love it.

Ayane: Yes, ma’am! Here they are.

Scarlett: Oh, this one is very nice. Red and green are traditional Christmas colors, so it’s perfect for my Christmas concert.

Rio: This one is quite special. It’s a fabric that comes from a small town in Scotland. A craftsman named Kenneth Hunter makes this tartan.

Scarlett: So, it’s quite rare? I love it!

Ayane: Min-jun’s mittens had the same pattern! That gives me an idea…

Ayane: It’s outstanding! She’s going to look great on stage at her winter concert.

Rio: I hope she likes it.

Ayane: Of course, she will! By the way, Aunt Rio… what will you do with that extra fabric?

Rio: Oh, this? This is the fabric that I didn’t use. Unfortunately, it’s not enough to make another dress. I’ll probably donate it to a thrift shop.

Ayane: In that case, can I have it?
