基礎英語3 Lesson 104 I don’t know who’s going to win this year

翔とミキが一緒に下校しながら話をしています。

Let’s listen to today’s story.

Miki: Is your grandmother doing any special training for the marathon?

Sho: Not really.

Miki: My grandmother is practicing with a track coach.

Sho: Track coach?

Miki: He’s the coach for Mr. Aoki’s company’s track team. He and Mr. Aoki are staying at our hotel to train for the marathon.

Sho: I see. And your grandmother is training with them.

Miki: Yeah. Sho, I don’t know who’s going to win this year.

Sho: Is winning really that important?

Miki: Of course it is. I saw you practicing the wadaiko all the time. If you practice something else very hard, I’m sure you can be a champion at that, too.
