Vivian: Remember to meet Amy there, OK?

ask の内容を wh 節で説明。wh 節は疑問文ではなく文の一部として機能しています。疑問形にはなっていないことに注意しましょう。

英語での文作りは、主語・目的語など決まった場所に表現を「放り込んでいく」作業です。自然なニュアンスを持つ文を作るためには、何を目的語位置に放り込むのか、日本語訳を超えた、表現に対する知識が要求されることがあります。
この文では to 不定詞が remember の目的語位置に「放り込まれて」います。to 不定詞は「（指し示す）矢印」が基本イメージであるため、「これから」のニュアンスを帯びることが頻繁にあります。remember to ～はそうした例。「（これから）～することを忘れない」となります。
今度は目的語位置に動詞 -ing 形を入れてみましょう。
I remember meeting Amy at the party.
目的語位置にある to 不定詞・動詞 -ing 形の選択は、動詞が持つ意味に敏感に対応します。「これから」を強く指向する動詞は to 不定詞を、「リアルな状況」を想起させる動詞は動詞 -ing 形を使うのが自然な選択です。

動詞の目的語の位置に to 不定詞・動詞 -ing 形のどちらかを使う練習です。
Have you considered taking an early retirement?
an early retirement は「早期退職」。consider の後ろは動詞-ing 形を使います。リアルに状況を想像するからです。
He promised to call me every day, but I haven’t heard from him once!
promise は目的語に to 不定詞をとります。「（これから）することを約束する」：からです。hear from は「連絡がある」。まとめて覚えましょう。
I haven’t finished filling in the questionnaire yet.
finish には動詞-ing 形。具体的でリアルな状況でなければ終わることが出来ませんから。
