レッスンのポイント 今回は help と save です。「助ける」と訳される動詞ですが、イメージは大きく異なります。

Roxy: Yes, she left about ten minutes ago.
Dad: I heard you two laughing. You were just playing video games the whole time, right?
Roxy: No, she helped me with my homework.
Dad: Really? You have a math test next week, don’t you?
Roxy: Don’t worry, Dad. Mika gave me some good advice. Anyway, what’s for dinner?
Dad: Seafood paella.
Roxy: Again?
Dad: But you like it, don’t you?
Roxy: Uh… yeah.
