receive は「受け取る」。get よりもカタい響きを持った単語です。具体的なモノだけでなく教育・治療・歓待など「受ける」一般に広く対応します。

accept(受け取る・承諾する）には、受け手の積極的な同意が伴います。
You really deserve it.
deserve は「受ける価値がある（ふさわしい）」。
