Yamada: I’m responsible for all new products targeting international tourists visiting Japan.
Sheffield: Oh, that means you create products for people like me.
Yamada: Yes, well, we hope so.
Sheffield: Can I see a sample of one of your products?
Yamada: Of course. This one is a combination of a parasol and a fan. It’s ideal for the humid Japanese summer.
Sheffield: That sounds interesting.

主語は Your nametag。英語は日本語よりも無生物主語を多用します。この文を使って慣れましょう。
REAL GRAMMAR FOR COMMUNICATION～会話に役立つ文法～
I’m responsible for all new products targeting international tourists visiting Japan.
「何の担当ですか」と尋ねられて I’m responsible …（私は担当です）と答える英語語順の「異常」。
この文は大きく言えば「説明ルール」の簡単な繰り返しが行われているにすぎません。
まず大切な内容 I’m responsible（私は責任があります＝担当です）を述べたあと、「範囲」を示す for で for all new products（すべての新製品について）と説明。
さらに all new products を動詞 -ing 形で targeting international tourists（外国人観光客をターゲットとしている製品）と説明。
さらに international tourists（外国人観光客）を動詞 -ing 形で visiting Japan（日本を訪れている、ね）と説明。
どんどん説明を右展開しているだけの話です。

今回は少し長めの文にチャレンジ。細かいところは間違っても大丈夫。後ろに展開していくリズムを身につけましょう。

まず大切な内容 My father is an engineer と言い切る。それが肝心。説明は後回し。関係代名詞節で「3Dプリンターを設計している」「国際的企業のために」「世界中の」と順序よく並べていってください。
I’m in charge of developing innovative physical training programs for Japanese athletes aiming to win gold medals.
まず I’m in charge（私は～の担当です）までを一息で。ここまでが文の主要な内容です。何の担当なのかを後ろから説明。develop は「開発する」、innovative は「画期的な」。Japanese athletes をその目標としていることに関して aiming to で説明していきます。
