Ryan: What? What do you mean?
Akane: Ryan, we can’t go on like this. We fight all the time. It’s no fun anymore.
Ryan: OK, I’ve made a few mistakes. I know I’m not perfect. I promise I’ll change, Akemi.
Akane: You always say that. It’s too late, Ryan. We’re not right for each other. It’s time we said goodbye.
Ryan: Wait a minute. We can work things out. I’ll be better in the future.
Akane: No, let’s stop wasting our time. You’ll find a better partner, and so will I.

go on は「続ける」。like は前置詞として使われ「～のような（に）」。全体としてよく耳にする文。覚えましょう。
You’ll find a better partner, and so will I.
so will I は「私も」。主語 – 助動詞倒置が使われ、勢いのある形となっています。

It’s time we said goodbye.
仮定法が表す反事実に実にピッタリと当てはまるフレーズがあります。「it’s time＋仮定法」はそのひとつ。「さよならをする時間（だけどまだしていない）」というキモチ。
そのほかの例を。
My boyfriend acts as if he were my boss.
as if（あたかも～のように）は「もし(if)～だったらそうするように（as）」ということ。
If only Bob were here.
if only は「～だったらよかったのに」と残念な気持ちを表しています。
If it were not for your support, I would not be where I am today.
「～がなければ」。実際には「ある」ものについて「なかったら」。
If you were to visit Japan in eary April, make sure you see the gorgeous cherry blossoms.
were to は「これから」についての仮定法（もし～するとしたら）。to 不定詞の持つ「矢印のイメージ」が「これから」につながっています。広くカバーする表現です。
if … should の表す「これから」
If you should arrive before me, just wait, OK?
この表現は if you arrive（もし着いたら）に比べ低い可能性を表します。助動詞 should は「進むべき道」。この文でも「先に着くようなことがあれば」と今後の事態の推移を眺めています。日本語でも「着くようなことがあれば」は「着いたら」よりずいぶん可能性が落ちます。if … should には丁寧のニュアンスが加わることもあります。

if it were not for ～ は比較的長いフレーズですが知っていると便利ですからしっかり覚えましょう。take part in … は「～に参加する」。
He acts as if he owned the place!
as if he owned the place はお決まりのフレーズ。「実際には所有していないのに」というニュアンス。
If you were to be offered the job, when could you start?
就職試験の面接で。可能性がまったくないというニュアンスではありませんよ。
