So, if I’m visiting home during New Year’s, I like to gather with lots of friends and have a countdown party.

Sometimes, we dress up in fancy clothes and listen to music and dance.

We all count down the final ten seconds until midnight tonight.

In many cities, there’s a big fireworks show at midnight.

It’s very fun, but we’re always very tired the next day.

We stay up at least until the countdown.

Also, it’s fun to watch fireworks on TV and see how each country celebrates.

At midnight, we say, “Cheers!” and “Happy New Year!” with some drinks.

Also, we try to think of a resolution or goal for the new year.

In the U.S., I would sometimes go out to a party with my sisters or friends.

That was a lot of fun, too.
