Susu: Great! What’s your favorite osechi dish?

Hiroto: I love Kuri-Kinton. Kuri-kinton is made from sweet potatoes and chestnuts. It is eaten for good luck and wealth in the coming year.

Susu: We always have a family reunion and a special dinner on New Year’s Eve.

Susu: Red is considered to be a lucky color, so New Year’s decorations are red.

Hiroto: How do you celebrate the New Year in your country, Susu?

Susu: In China, we celebrate Chinese New Year. We always have a family reunion and a special dinner on New Year’s Eve. We also enjoy watching the lion dance.
