Kota: Well, I’m working out a lot these days. I hope it will help with surfing.

Kenji: Good for you.

Kota: But right now, I’m busy with the school musical. I’m singing in the chorus.

Mitsuko: Oh, I didn’t know you liked singing.

Kota: Yeah. Singing with friends is fun. Musicals are as La popular as sports at this school.

Kenji: We’re glad you’re enjoying yourself.

Mitsuko: Can we watch the musical online?

Kota: I’ll find out!

Sapna: Thanks! You look very handsome, Nigel.

Nigel: Thanks.

Kota: Practicing for this musical was hard. But working together with you makes me happy! Thank you for encouraging me, Sapna. I don’t feel homesick anymore.

Sapna: My pleasure. We’ll all be great!

Nigel: I’m not as confident as you.

Sapna: Don’t worry! You’re an excellent singer.

Nigel: I am?

Ms. Warner: Everyone, we now present “The Princess and the Dragon.”

Sapna: See? It’s thrilling, isn’t it?

Angie: Hey, the show was so good, Kota! I cried when the princess sang to the dragon.

Briony: I didn’t know Nigel had such a good voice.

Kota: Yeah, he was brilliant.

Briony: But he didn’t sing as often as you. You sang so many songs in the chorus. I’m impressed. You have a lot of courage.

Kota: Do you think so?

Kota: Did you notice that?

Max: We were rooting for you. The giant dragon was very impressive! It was so big.

Kota: It’s about three times as tall as me!

Michelle: Oh, we got a message from your parents. They watched the musical on live streaming.

Max: They’re very proud of you. They’re sending your New Year’s money to you early. You can use it to buy a surfboard.

Kota: Really??
