Monday
Nigel: Yeah. Kota, can you cook Japanese food?
Kota: Well, I’m not good at cooking. But I can make simple dishes.
Sapna: Ooh, I have an idea! You should teach us a Japanese recipe.
Kota: Hmm…. How about onigiri? It’s a Japanese rice ball.
Sapna: A rice ball? I think it’s perfect!
Kota: OK. Maybe we can have an onigiri party. I’ll ask my host family.

Briony: Thanks, Kota.
Kota: I prepared the rice and nori seaweed. Did you bring your favorite filling, everyone?
All (except* Kota): Yes!

Wednesday
Sapna: I’m using avocado. How about you, Nigel?
Nigel: I’m using sausage.
Kota: Avocado and sausage? That’s new. Try it! Now use both hands to make a triangle shape. Like this.
Sapna: It feels funny.
Briony: Hmm… I can’t make the right shape.
Kota: Bend your right hand like this. Uh-huh. Good!
Briony: OK, I got it. I’m glad you helped me.
