みんなはエマの家で、感謝祭ディナーを楽しんでいます。エマの父、ヘンリー・ベッカーがキッチンから戻ってきました。
Henry: Dessert is almost ready! I baked four pies in the oven, and I just took them out. We should wait about 30 minutes for them to cool.
Nancy: Thank you, dear. In the meantime, why don’t we give thanks?
Ayane: Give thanks?
Emma: Every Thanksgiving, we all say what we’re thankful for.
Ayane: What a lovely tradition!
Emma: I’ll start. I’m thankful for my wonderful friends and family. You go next, Ayane.
Ayane: Well… I’m thankful for the chance to live in my favorite city!
