Ms. White: Welcome! Please have a seat over there.

Min-jun: Thank you.

Ms. White: Is everyone ready? This is the photography club’s first meeting! We have ten members this year. Some of you have some experience with photography, but we also have a few beginners. It’s wonderful to try a new activity. Everyone is welcome. Here is your first assignment.

Ayane: Architecture? Like buildings or bridges?

Min-jun: Exactly. New York has a lot of beautiful buildings, like churches and libraries.

Ayane: It’s fun for me to take pictures of people. I don’t have much experience with taking pictures of scenery. I don’t know where to start.

Min-jun: Don’t worry. I know the perfect spot. Let’s go there this weekend!

Ayane: OK, sure!

Ayane: Yeah! I like the shapes of the stone arches and the steel cables. I never thought about the interesting angles before.

Min-jun: Oh, it’s five-thirty. The sun sets in an hour. Let’s get started. Nothing is better than taking pictures during the golden hour.

Ayane: The golden hour?

Min-jun: The hour before sunset. The soft, warm light is great for photographs!

Ayane: Good idea. Look at the New York skyline in the sunset! It’s incredible.

Min-jun: Yeah, it is.

Ayane: Hey! Did you just take a picture of me?

Min-jun: Your smile looked so natural!

Ayane: Really?

Min-jun: You’ll definitely like this picture. I have no doubt. Take a look.

Ayane: It’s OK. Um, can you send it to me later?

Min-jun: Of course.
