Ryan: Sure. We need people who can use technology well and who can give advice about cosmetics.
Akane: That sounds perfect for me. May I send you my resume?
Ryan: Of course. If you meet our requirements, I’ll interview you next month. Would that be OK?
Akane: Yes. Thank you.

Fred: Well, I’ve started a new activity.
Gina: Really? What is it?
Fred: You must promise not to laugh, OK?
Gina: I promise.
Fred: It’s tap dancing. What do you think?
Gina: I think it’s great. What made you decide to start doing that?
Fred: I saw some internet videos of tap dancers. They were so cool, and it looked like fun.

Colleen: You should get a haircut at least. Your hair’s too long.
William: I want to look good for the date. Can you recommend a good hair salon?
Colleen: Here, check this out. I found this place on the net.
William: Wow, they have a lot of cool styles for men. Which do you like?
Colleen: I like this one. It’s cute.
William: That’s a trendy look.

SAY IT IN ENGLISH! ～英語で声に出して表現してみましょう～

①あなたは、画期的な老眼鏡「マゴの目」へのお客様の声を聞く会を催しています。上手に意見を聞き出してください。
例えば「おいでいただきありがとうございます。わが社はお客様の声を大切にしています。もしよろしければ、わが社の製品についての皆さんの意見を私たちに聞かせて頂けますか」など。
表現例
②あなたは上司に重要なリポートを提出することになっていますが、今ひとつ自信が持てません。事情を知る同僚に意見を聞いてみることにしました。
例えば、「実のところ２～３問題を抱えているんだ。ボスに提出する前に君にリポートを送ってもいいかな？ どう思ったか知らせてくれたらありがたいんだけど」など。
