Susie: I’m home!
Ryan: Hi, Susie. I cooked curry for dinner.
Susie: I know. I noticed the good smell of spices as soon as I opened the door.
Ryan: OK, let’s eat.
Susie: Yes, I’m starving.
Ryan: Er… Sorry, but the carrots are still a bit hard.
Susie: How long did you cook them for?
Ryan: I added them to the curry at the last minute. I thought they’d go soft very quickly.
Susie: Well, thanks for trying, honey. Should we order a take-out curry next time?
