Today’s dialog
来週のクラブ説明会に備えて、マサミはソウタにプレゼンテーションを頼みます。
Masami: Sota, next week our school is having the club presentations for freshmen.
Sota: I know. It’s five minutes for each presentation, right?
Masami: Right. Can you do the one for our shogi club?
Sota: No problem. you can always count on me.
Masami: Can you make it interesting and exciting? Because we’re after the anime club, which is the most popular club at this school.
Sota: I’ll do may best, but I may need your help to make it more exciting.
Masami: Sure.

①進行形で「予定」
「be + 動詞 ing」です。
②will の表す未来：意思
will はこれからの事態を鮮明に見通す「予測」と、これからを見通し、ある状況を実現する「意思」の使い方があります。この例は「意思」。

「テーブルの上にボール」の on のイメージは「支える」につながっています。count on me は「私に頼る・依存する」です。me が支えるというわけです。
別の表現も見てみましょう。

depend on（～に頼る）では on の「支える」を意識しましょう。
trap は「閉じ込める・罠に掛ける」。mine は「鉱山･坑道」。the people trapped in the mine では trap の過去分詞が使われ「鉱山に閉じ込められた人々」。on just water は「水だけに支えられて」。
blame は「非難・責め」。put the blame on ～ で「～のせいにする」という意味。
