Guess what happened to me … は「何が起こったのか推測してみて=聞いてちょうだい」。面白い・ビックリするような話のきっかけを作る言い回し。was supposed to ~ は「~することになっていた」。
 
not anymore は「もはや~ではない」。
 
 

ADVANCED ANSWER

 
You’ll never guess(君は思いもよらないだろう) も、話のきっかけを作る効果的なフレーズ。turn up は「現れる」。
 
 
be kept は受動態。「keep waiting させられる」ということ。
