Today’s dialog
団体旅行の観光客が、ガイドさんに連れられて日本のコンビニを訪れています。
Guide: OK, everyone. Please come back to the bus at 11:15.
Tourist: I’ve always wanted to see a Japanese convenience store. What are these triangle-shaped things?
Guide: Those are called onigiri, or rice balls.
Tourist: Oh, I’ve never tried them.
Guide: Actually, they’re delicious. You have your choice of salmon, pickled plum or tuna salada.
Tourist: I’ll get the tuna salad.
Guide: Good choice. That’s my favorite too.
Tourist: How do you open it?
Guide: It’s a bit tricky, so I’ll show you how later.
