Lesson 120 I'd like to improve our town's economy
Let’s listen to today’s story.
Mayor: So, Mr. Aoki, were you able to come up with any ideas for regional development? I'd like to improve our town's economy.
Mr. Aoki: I am confident I can do that. However, I need a bit more time. I want to see what this town is like in the winter.
Mayor: There's nothing. The town ran a big hotel, but after the ski boom ended, we had to close it down.
Mr. Aoki: But you still have other hotels, right?
Mayor: Yes, but they're very small. Mr. Aoki, I'd like to give my people something to dream about.
Mr. Aoki: Don't give your people dreams. Give them goals, goals they can achieve.
I want to talk about it with you and David
