Caspar: I like it. It’s natural.

Alexis: Natural? I spent a lot of money to get it styled this way. And it’s only “natural?”

Caspar: I meant it as a compliment, Alexis. I’m not criticizing.

Alexis: Can’t you think of a better word, such as “elegant” or “chic,” or “trendy?” I don’t need to go to a stylist to have a “natural” look.

Caspar: What I meant was it’s the most natural look for you. The best!

Alexis: Hmmm.

Honoka: I spoke with passion in order to get people’s attention.

Harry: You certainly did. I liked the way you stressed the urgency of the climate change problem.

Honoka: The point I was trying to make is that we can’t wait. The time to act is now.

友人がパートナーと別れたがっているようです。あなたはお似合いの二人だと思っているで、よく考えるように説得してみましょう。

例えば「もしわたしの理解が正しければ、あなたはあなたは彼女と別れたいと言っているのですね？　あなたも知っているように、人間関係にはよいときも悪いときもたくさんあります。だから早まった決断をする前によく考えることが必要だと思います。彼女はすごい人です。そう思いませんか？」など。

早まった決断:　 hasty decision

SIMPLE ANSWER

 
If I understand you correctly, you’re saying that は定型表現。split up with は「～と別れる・～を手放す」。
 
 
as you know は「あなたも知っているとおり」。think twice もよく使われるフレーズ。「(何かをする前などに）よく考える」。hasty は「性急な・深く考えていない」。
 
 

ADVANCED ANSWER

 
So you’re saying that は定型表現。
 
 
You would be crazy to … では、to不定詞に「条件」が隠れています。「～するならどうかしている」ということ。よく使われるフレーズ。ditch は「捨てる」。just because は「～だというだけで」。
 
 
make up は「仲直りする」。made for each other は「お互いのために作られた→ピッタリのカップル」ということ。
