Guest: Not “seems.” IS! The problem IS that the hotel Wi-Fi is unbelievably slow.
Manager: I’m awfully sorry. But don’t worry. I will resolve this matter immediately. You have my word. Here you are. You can use this LAN cable. That should do the trick.
Guest: What? I don’t want to be tied to a LAN cable! I want a reliable, fast Wi-Fi connection, as promised on your website.
Manager: Ah, well. Actually….
Guest: Forgot it. I’m checking out!
